Door Seals

Hi All

I have a question about the door seals, specifically the seal that runs down from the B Pillar to the door bottom. My question is how does the weather seal interface with the finishing plate.

Right now the seals on my Tiger overlap the finishing plate. They are just hanging their flapping in the wind (see photo.) That was the way they were when I got the car. Seems a bit unfinished to me.

What is factory correct. Were they just trimmed off so they were flush with the plate or are they somehow secured under the plate.

A photo of the correct set up would be great.

Thanks,

Jim

On the body opening around the door there is a beading that runs along the horizontal edge at the base, it turns up and runs the angle behind the metal triangle. The vertical edge has the beading with the rubber seal that overlaps the body (as shown on yours) is then tucked under the triangle, maybe tim it to match the angle and make it just long enough to be pinched into place.
