I do have a question though, what device(s) did you use to measure the pressure. Is that a pure mechanical fuel pressure gauge in the cubby? Or is it an electrical gauge with an electrical sender at the pump? If electric, which devices did you use?

I am using a Holley Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge (link above). The Gauge is in the glove box and the sending unit is on the fuel manifold by the carb. If you look at the picture of my engine, it is the gold round can on the fuel intake side of the carb. I would never run a mechanical gauge in the car due to fire hazard.

I sent this to the manufacturer of the pump -

I am having a problem with the fuel pressure dropping to ~2.5 PSI under full throttle. Ford 347 engine with a Holley 700 cfm carb. 3/8 aluminum line from tank to pump, pump to filter and then filter to carb.

What was their answer?
