Subframe

I have just pulled the engine from my Tiger in order to give it a bit of a freshen up (or stroke). One of the problems I have had in the past is handling the subframe assembly on my own. This time I determined to make up a frame that would balance the subframe on a jack. I am fortunate to have a hoist to work from, but it was always an issue trying to control the subframe and preventing an injury to myself. I used some scrap square tube and managed after a bit of trial and error to get the balance right. The subframe now sits securely on the jack and will make reinstallation so much simpler.

How about shots of the braces with no suspension. I built one like Bryan's but it was not tough enough.

This looks like a good idea, but it's hard to understand from the pictures. Is it better than just using a motor cycle jack?

Then there is this approach, if you want to roll the thing around.
