What is correct application for the different interior vinyl patterns

Over the years I have had and seen many cars and I believe with different interior vinyl types. Hoping for input/application for these types. Going thru one of my old boxes of upholstry stuff (I am a pack rat for sure I have 3 different vinyl patters/types in laymans wording) - a) a very smooth grain, b) smooth but larger grain patterns (? if called Longhorn). and c) a course pebble I know is in the latter cars. Anyone know a good reference to pont me to or any input to clarify - thanks. Merry Christmas everyone

These 2 old Polaroid pictures from 1971 are from my first Tiger B382001542- a '67 MK1A. I don't know if you can see the grain, but at least you can count the pleats, snake notwithstanding. BTW, I saved that snake from some idiots at West L.A. College that were going to chop its head off because they thought the gopher snake was a rattlesnake...
