Have to fix a tranny leak.

Pulling the Tiger's engine and tranny this four day weekend, who wants to come on over an help?

Am doing a GoPro time laps video of it.

Going with a pic every 5 seconds. Have the camera mounted to the neon beer sign clock with the suction cup. Will move it around some too.

As much as I like free pizza and beer, I'm afraid that I probably could not make it time from the West Coast. I do hope you get lots of help and good luck with the work! I hope the beer comes at the end of the work day, though! I can't remember how many times I had to redo some mechanical work the next day following too much beer during the work.

Thanks anyway guys. I have pulled it twice by myself....a third time is no issue.

Put it back in with zippers...the TKO is just about ready to be released. In fact the side shifter has now been installed in a number of chevels and novas
and mine works way beyond expectations.

you doing the trans only or dropping the motor as well? i have heard some people have done just the 'box but seems about as much work as the full drop.

The timelapse should be interesting.. dont forget to keep it on for thelight up and smoke out from the garage... i only wish i had as much room inside to work on the cars..

Its all coming out. Will allow me to re torque the heads and detail lots of unreachable areas.

Out the bottom once again.

I'm doing the direct opposite, without the garage cam.
Man do I need to tidy my garage.

I haven't bothered Bill with a call lately about the tranny, but I am on his list to get one whenever they are ready. I also have been seriously thinking about Dale's front end like yours. I saw a post where you said that between Dale's front end & Bill's 5-spd, your car was a different car. I just got the motor back from the Dyno, it was the first time it had been out in 40 years of ownership, time to get off the wallet.

I've used time lapse mode on GoPro before and it's really cool function.

I'd be up for giving you a hand Duke, but doubt Mrs T would let me book a flight :D

On a seperate note, check out the newly launched GoPro Hero 3 (black) which shoots time lapse and videos simultaneously. Very neat!
 
Looking forward to the video. Never seen this done.
