Replacement Door Mirror on my 1A?

I would like to have a door mirror for the right side of my '66 Tiger 1A to improve safety. I don't know if the left side is the stock mirror. It has FoMoCo on it and 5-1/2" between bolt centers. I've not had any luck finding a similar mirror with a bolt spacing that large. I would like to match it or find a pair that have a similar look. A convex for the right side would also be desirable. Can anyone out there shed some light on this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Tiger mirrors were installed by the dealership. So, there are many "stock" mirrors. Go with what you like.

Bolt holes

Try Dearborn classics for a Falcon Mustang base that will fit/fill the holes you have. Yours looks like the base of one but the mirror is a little different.
Be advised though that they are not that good of chrome on em and need lots of wax and attention cause they do not like bad weather.

Some of the old school had a slip over convex Pep boys mirror that went over your stock rear view mirror larger and safer plus you don't have to try to focus on the small area the mirror covers. I had one on my VW conv and it rocks. When you want to show slip it off, and you don't look like you customized at JC Whitney.
One glance and no neck wrenching over the shoulder twists to check for motorcycles.

5 1/2" centers is a lot! You might find something like that in the 'American' car section as most mirrors I've seen have a lot 'closer' centers.. I found a set of repro Mercury Cougar ones with 5 7/8" centers http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/c7az-17696-.html so those types of cars may be the best place to look...
I like the look of my 'Tex' mirrors from England and they have a lot of choices in stainless including convex but none will span those centers... :(

We had an old Comet that had a mirror just like that . . . .

Thanks Guys

Thanks Warren. I'll probably just get a pair of those from DC.

Two mirrors with gaskets and screws in stock coming from Florida! Thanks again.
