Please note that the group photo shoot at Laguna Seca is now August 15. Please be at Tiger Corral at the track with your car no later than 4 pm. corral pass and track admission required

I went up the ladder at the track and found this out-----any Tiger will be let in for the photo shoot at 4pm on Friday without buying a ticket. Just an FYI for those that only bought a Saturday ticket.

Pre-Order Tickets by 4pm Monday, 11 Aug

According to the raceway website, advanced tickets can be purchased up until 4:00 pm (West Coast time) on Monday, 11 August. After that, you will have to get your tickets "at the gate". I don't know if they sell Tiger Corral parking tickets at the gate. The web site says that "TICKET PRICES INCREASE AT THE GATE", but don't say how much is the increase. Also, it costs $10 per order to get your tickets on the internet. All advanced tickets ordered after 1 August must be picked up at Will Call, located at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1441 Canyon Del Rey, Seaside, CA 93955.

Good stuff

Dave have any mote addresses Baja Cantina is easy to find
Just for trip planning and such.

I am not trying to disagree with you--just saying if someone has a Tiger and really wants to get in the pic they can just drive in per the email I received--here it is in part.........

If you arrive after 4:00, I have instructed admissions to permit Sunbeam Tigers into the facility at no charge. This has been approved by both Ginger Mutoza (admissions) and Gregg Curry (president and in charge of camping, which operates the gate at that time).

I hope to see you all at lunch Thursday. I plan to leave the bay area tomorrow and, if a parking spot can be found, stop by Carmel.

Somehow my tickets were mailed to Atlanta so I also need to visit the track for replacements.

Right now we're back in SoCal to pick up George Boskoff who flys in here early tomorrow morning.

We'll head back to the track Wednesday.

We head out Wed at 10 from San Diego. Going straight up 5 to Frazier Park.

Then taking the twisties to Paso Robles for the night.

Finish up Thursday am with a run up Hwy 1 through Big Sur.

Looking forward to seeing how the 2.72 rear end gears work on the open road. I think I am going to like them and the gas mileage.

Times etc.

http://catmbr.org/VB_forum/announcement.php?a=10 there was a mass email about the Pizza party asking for RSVP's

I don't think it's wise to cut and paste to forum with a bunch of private e mail address are on it. I have removed all email and phone contacts so PM or hit me up or most anyone to fwd it to you direct.

Fellow CAT members.
For those who are going to Monterey for this week’s activities, CAT and STOA are organizing a number of activities and it will be very helpful to know how many to expect at each. So please let me know (please also copy if you will be at any of these three activities:

Thursday August 14: Noon gathering at Baja Cantina in Carmel. STOA folks need to know how many will be there from CAT.

Friday, August 15: On track photo shoot. Must be at Tiger corral by 4 PM, preferably earlier so we can be well organized to get the shots we want from 5-5:30. So far we have at least 40 cars plus the race cars. Knowing total number will help our photographer get the best positioning. As mentioned earlier, order that cars file onto the start finish line will be determined by lottery.

Friday August 15: Post-photo shoot at Cynthia Hall’s place in Carmel for all Tigers participating in the shoot. Beer and Pizza, please RSVP so Cynthia Stan know how much to get. See invitation below.

The Pizza & Beer party at Cynthia's in Carmel Valley after the Friday
> Tiger Photo Shoot needs to have a separate RSVP to know how to plan.
> It is only 10 MILES from Laguna Seca not 10 mins.
> As of 8/10 there are 37 Tiger Corral passes sold so the potential is
> substantial. Some are going to auctions, prearranged dinners etc.
> Please let us know by Thursday night.

> RSVP to Stan Clark:

I RSVPed several days ago--has anyone else done so? I would like to get the address for the "after shoot party" before I leave. Thanks.

Stan Clark emailed me last night and said he would provide address of party at the track at the photo shoot.

Don't leave home without it.

Not the American Excess Card, The CAT club Roster filled with cell phone numbers:D

Laguna Seca Map

Ahh. Camping is great...but online jones kicking in... Sorry for missing some of your mails. Will try to respond. Anyway... Now at embassy pulling wall outlet juice, wifi and picking up passes for tomorrow.

Thought some of you would be interested in the map.

Truly great to see "TIGER" in line with others in the corral. Well done folks!

Paddock map also put up, would be great to know where tiger race cars are located if anyone has that info...

Look forward to meeting many of you at Baja in a few hours.

I'll be the guy with wind blown curly brown hair, '68 yellow mustang (boo...) and a 'LAT' jacket (if not too hot).

Bummer--looks like we are parked in the gravel unless they paved it since last year. I am usually a couple corrals down in the Shelby group, gets a bit dusty.
