Canada Clone, EBAY

Tiger clone - Canada

Are those "Tiger" soda cans the dual vents? Just in case you may question it's heritage, he put Tiger on everything... soda cans, extinguisher, mats, gauges. I'll bet he gets some nice cool air into those air cleaners mounted directly over the headers.
Trophy car? OMG!

Tiger Clone

The seller listed the make as "Other Make" and the model as "Tiger Clone". I wonder what car maker ever manufactured a model called "Tiger Clone"!

To give credit where credit is due, the seller does not have any of the Tiger emblems on the outside and does call it a clone. I wonder how it is registered, though, and what kind of VIN number it is packing.

I've seen this car twice at shows, he came over to say hi at a show I was at in Malone NY with my Tiger, seems like a nice guy.

Here are a couple of pics.

Of course my '66 was the epicenter of excitement for the whole event, took everything in my power to fight off the crowds. :p

I like the effort the guy put into the car... while some of the details are not my prefference.. i appreciate the effort.

One thing that is standing out to me... it looks as if this is done like the Miles prototype... the engine looks to be sitting infront of the firewall.... and very far forward... i wonder what steering is used... and what the handling is like?

At 45k he probably wont get his money back.. but i also dont think he will get the 45k either....

I was looking at the engine placement too, very far forward. He did a nice job on the car and like it was mentioned--no Tiger badges on the exterior.

Wow, seems somebody likes it at 45K. Still below reserve. I like the color though.

This is an Ottawa based car which i have seen at several local shows. Nice guy and well built which is not surprising as he is a retired professional body man. The engine is placed Ala Ken Miles prototype, forward of the firewall and is backed by a C4 I believe and it does have rack and pinion steering. It will be interesting to see what it brings.
