RM Auctions March B382002093

The saga of B382002093 continues...

So... Here we go yet again!!

Car sells for $58k in 2012...then last month $137500 with 2 pieces of crooked trim added and a set of steelies...then last week the dealer that bought it puts it on eBay for $167500 BIN... no takers...!

Today, I see the car AGAIN with the minilites from the 2012 auction along with the 2 trim bits missing ...again!

This time it's Barrett-Jackson !!... April 17th-19th and NO reserve!!!!

I gonna speculate that someone from that dealership is about to have a career change

LOL! I'm relatively new to Sunbeam Tigers and I am constantly amazed at how quick these cars repeatably go up for sale or auction. I must be old school or something because I always thought you bought a classic because you liked it not necessarily to make money on them. At least not weeks after you buy it. Don't get me wrong, its nice to know that your car is increasing in value but I like to enjoy 'em a little. You guys crack me up, you must have massive databases with all the sales info on them. LOL! By the way, I'm not criticizing, I think that is pretty cool if you do.

Dave,
These guys know when a car is going to be for sale before the seller! :D
There is also a natural suspicion about every car for sale being a clone until proven otherwise. It's a good thing to be careful and save someone from a bad mistake. I know of one car that did not pass a TAC inspection last year at the same time mine was TAC'd. It was a bad day for that chap. :(

If the pics in ad are current, nope. It could be an old photo though.
