Hi All

I am in search of the brackets that are affixed to the trunk side panels, upon which the trunk floor rests. I have a Mk1 so the passenger side bracket is smaller than the driver's side. I have attached a couple of photos.

if I can not find them I will need to fabricate them, but that is for a different thread.

Thanks

US passenger side

I think I have two and no drivers side but it'll take some time to find em . Do you have a source for the Jute padding?

No source for padding...one step at a time. Small bracket definitely harder to find. Going to look at a parted out Tiger tomorrow. Not sure what is there. Let me know about your search results.

If someone finds a complete set, I can have the Guru duplicate a few on the plasma table. OR, send the stock length/width/radius/etc. Just sayin'

Halfway There

Just back from looking at a stash of Tiger Parts. Found a couple of trunk side panels, one of which had the correct smaller driver side floor bracket for early cars. Also the jute padding on both sides. So just need to find the larger passenger side bracket which is, arguably, easier to find.

Big one

Found I have 2 of the big ones and can't find the small one. One has the original jute pad on it. I'll put up picture or we can figure something out, let's email. I can visit my Woodie restorer neighbor if I get a pattern and use his squaring shear and sheet metal brake. I know a guy who is just buying a car and he's missing both as well.
