I'm interested in buying the Electronic Smiths repro tach and speedo for my Tiger but would like to talk with someone who owns them. Anyone experienced with these guauges, quality, function, ease of install and calibration, let me know what you think of the product? Thanks, Don

I bought the ones 66TigerMK1A sells on this forum. Very happy with them. Jim is great to work with too. I needed his help on the speedometer sender for my tko tranny.

I decided to use the GPS function in Jim's speedo rather than dick about with cable adaptors to my T5 installation. I simply plugged the hole in the T5 with a 1.75" freeze plug

Jim also made me a LAT 22 tach face per the Rootes LAT option brochure.
Whether this was actually an available LAT part is another issue. It just arrived from the UK this week and I have yet to see it!!

Now for a set of his other gauges to get rid of that lying temperature gauge

Here’s a pic of your ‘new’ LAT22 tach...calibrated for 8 cyl. I have your GPS speedo also and recently got a shipment of water, fuel and voltmeters. ;)

Thanks all for the information! I had little doubt, but too often I don't do my due diligence and end up making poor purchase decisions. Cheers!

I plan on the GPS program, seems it makes the most sense with my situation. Tremec gearbox, AMC tail housing...
