1/4 Window Heads

Drove Tiger from DC to Long Island United and somewhere along the way I lost one of the 1/4 window nut chrome heads. The screw happened to stay in the bracket, but now I have a flopping window. Hardtop was a good thing to have when we went back thru the remnants of the rain from NY to DC.

Does anyone have one or a pair of the chrome nuts that hold the 1/4 to the bracket? Looks like I have the small diameter nuts on this hardtop.

Looks like I will have to put tighten the 1/4 windows as an item on the checklist before leaving the garage.

A couple of years ago a guy in Australia made them in both sizes with the associated stepped rubber gaskets. I can contact him and see if he has some left if you want.

If you have the contact info, it would be great if you can ask.

I was also thinking about the old style binders that had the round collar and the threaded screw. It would be the opposite application, but still might work. At least they are cheap and one could lock-tight them if I can still find them.

Robert there is a club meeting tonight, ill see if there are any still available. I have a set of his repro for the large style but need them for my fathers top
