"10 Most collectible cars"

Better show this to a good friend--he just sold 3 of the Datsun roadsters cheap.....The 928's never seemed to catch on back in the day, I think the mainstream Porsche guys didn't like it because it had a radiator.

Well, perhaps I screwed up when I had my pick of 4 930's a few years ago from a local specialty car dealer- all under $40K. Always fancied one of those. Around town they're silly. Can't really get 'em out of second gear, but in the wide open spaces? woooo hoooo!

But that would have meant selling the Tiger, so maybe I didn't really screw up. :) And anyway, how can you sell a member of the family?

I always liked the 928's ever since photographing one for an ad many years ago, but maintenance on those things was $$$ so I passed.

No regrets, really. "love the one you're with."

The 928 entry surprises me. I've always liked the look of them. But when I drove a few of examples, I realized they weren't very good cars. Admittedly, they were used. But I doubt the many electrical problems, rattles and other issues were merely from neglect in all three cases. And, they were disappointingly slow.

Mix 'N Match doesn't cut it. Most should remember the 'rusty' II that is being marketed in this recent Hemmings ad. Unfortunately, it is not B382100564. All efforts to identify the unmarked "Commodore Blue" remains have been unsuccessful, so now we're being embarrassed by this sort of fraud.

If one wants to commit fraud, might as well be a Mk II - more potential $$$$.
