The 2024 Monterey Historics/Reunion

is going on this week.

There is one Sunbeam partaking.

It is the #8 LeMans Coupe from the UK.

It is being driven by Chris Beighton,

with Tony Ekford also attending.

As far as I know of the schedule,

there were practice sessions yesterday

and today, with Chris putting the Coupe

#5 on the grid.

There is a race per Group for the next 2 days

Hope the car can get up to the podium...Chris is a good peddler.. not sure he has race Laguna before... But he will learn fast.

After the weekend fun, the Tiger finished third in its group.

Yes they did a great job.. and I think was the first time.chris had raced at Laguna Seca. I watched race 1 and 2.. both got black flagged and stopped due to incidents. I race one he was running 3rd and race 2 4th.

It was also interesting that he was locking the inside front left into the first hairpin each lap, must have been uploading the front inside tyre in setup I guess.
