Who knows maybe they grabbed them off 2 different pallets I would have thought theMy heads have 4G13 and 4E15 on them does that mean they may not be original to my series 1 9471379 ?
My engine build date was July 21 1964 so at least the heads were cast before the engine was built The heads were cast July 13 th 1964 and May 15 th 1964 As you mentioned the heads were probably grabbed off two pallets. Who knowsWho knows maybe they grabbed them off 2 different pallets I would have thought the
dates would be closer like a few days apart but who knows for sure. My head has the same date as Warren's
and my mk1 was built in April 65 where his came off a late Mk1a, have to see what my other head date is but
will be a bit its buried somewhere in garage.
