260 timing chain cover

I have a rotted out aluminium timing chain cover on the original 260 PN C4AE-6059-B and looking for a new one

All I can find is a Scott Drake repo C4AZ-6019-A or equally rotted originals
Anyone know of a repo?

Not a deal breaker if the Scott Drake part is all that I can find, and is dimensionally and cosmetically identical, but original is a bit nicer
Is the difference in how the road draft tube hole is plugged?

What is the difference in a C4AZ-6019-A and B?

When did the rib count change?

Found this on the Autox forum fwiw

The C4OE-6059-A timing cover casting is dimensionally the same as
the C4AE-6059-B and any earlier castings. The only difference is
C4OE-6059-A has the oil fill tube section totally removed from the casting.
I believe the C4OE-6059-A casting is what I have on my 66 MK 1A Tiger and it
is 2 3/8" thick. Unfortunately I can't see that casting number with it in
the car.
These timing covers are interchangeable with one note; the
C4OE-6059-A casting can only be used on earlier engine blocks if the oil
passage into the lifter gallery is plugged. You do have a freeze plug or
it is cast closed at the top passenger side of your timing cover casting
right?

The timing cover casting changed in June 1965 to go along with the
cast iron water pump. This timing cover casting C5OE-6059-A1 and later
castings are quickly identified by the 7 ribs between the water pump face
and the engine face. The C4OE-6059-A casting and earlier castings only
have 2 ribs.

I thought I understand the Ford part number decode:

A = Galaxie or Generic on my MK1 while your O = Fairlane
6059 = timing chain cover ???
B = 1st design change, A = original design

The part I do not understand is why the Scott Drake repo has a 6019 part number
C = 1960's
4 = 1964
A = Galaxie or generic
Z = service part
6019 ????
A = original design

I've seen a lot of after market suppliers use the original part number and add/change a number or letter.

I posted a part for sale and made the mistake of not inspecting it closely enough. It had been modified (not sure why) and I mistakenly thought it was just somebody's casting flash clean up.
Lesson learned!
