60 Years of the Sunbeam Tiger

Thanks for providing an opportunity for us to explain our process for determining the proper forum for new threads. The year-old thread you referred to was about a trailer for a movie in progress. As you can tell by the different responses, the movie was not completed yet and most of the posts were about what is going to be in the final movie. Future readers of the Forum will be far more interested in the final movie than in the short trailer.

Not sure why I've just discovered this trailer, and of course I'd love to see the completed movie/documentary. If that has been produced, please steer myself and others to it's location. If the trailer is all that's been produced, I'd agree with Dan that it belongs in a video/movie category. Thanks for locating it there. It in itself is well done and engaging to watch. Todd Laydon

The trailer was put together by the producers of the movie. From what I understand, they were trying to raise additional funds to pay for the final production costs. My understanding is that the movie is finished. I do not know how the film is being marketed, but it is not posted on the Forum. Maybe someone who knows more than I do can update us on the status of the movie.
 
I have heard that there was a discussion about the movie being screened at the upcoming Tigers United. If you are going to be there, you might see it.

Just to let the US- Tiger fellows know: We finally raised considerable funds among the Swiss Tiger & German Sunbeam Club members to ensure significant contribution to the final production costs, respectively having the movie finished. Can you report if there are any plans to market the final product as a Blu-ray/DVD? And in NTSC as well as in PAL? I am probably one of many here in the US who would be interested in getting a copy for my library.
