Last Sunday's LASAAC show was a hit. Peter Brock was honored and he spoke on the details and trials of his experience at Shelby American including of course his radical aerodynamic re-body of the Cobra into the Cobra Daytona Coupe. "They" said it would fail but it was able to beat Ferrari in endurance racing. Faster and more importantly efficient. Better gas mileage was most important according to Peter. Fewer fuel stops was the winning edge.
Two Tigers only. Hooks and Muellers both were awarded Trophy's in that order. We did have the best looking dog. Demi, Bonnie's CCI assistance dog/puppy in training. This a popular vote show with Peter Brock picking the best. Sorry I do not remember which Cobra that was. Might be the blue one I post the engine picture below.
The white Cobra is first sold. Still owned by Herbie Hancock.
