1) Learn how to spell "real"
2) thought that was my car at first, whew
3) MkII's look naked without the chrome trim, and of course very pricey to find
4) the wire wheels actually don't look that bad
5) for that kind of money repaint the underside of the hood and touch up the hinges.

Lots of targets.

The Daytona Beach cars are known to a Tiger pal . He mentioned them as legit cars. John does not post much but knows his stuff.

Must be a reason that these are for sale ? Doesn't normally like to let go of any . . . . .

Psychic Friend

John is not my Gypsy psychic friend. I only reported he knows the cars and that they are legitimate Tigers. He did leave it open ended like if I was interested he'd investigate further. Sadly I am not in the pay grade for a MK2 even if I know where the missing bits are for sale for that that red once green car.

The two Daytona Beach cars are the same person that I bought my Alpine from last year (the one with Tiger tunnel & steering).

I have no doubt they are legit. When I was there he probably had 6 or more MKIIs in various conditions (including the one from "Counting Cars" that he hunted down and bought after he saw the show) as well as some other I/IA Tigers.
