Wanted Aluminum Radiator Wanted

I have found an old school radiator shop here in the L.A. area that is going to recore my original with a dimpled core. There are far fewer radiator shops in general and finding one that does recores is even more difficult, probably due to the throw away nature of modern radiators with plastic tanks. The process is not cheap, close to the cost of a new Griffin from Summit Racing but I am happy about this direction. I am getting the radiator back unpainted and will paint it myself with Eastwood radiator paint which is supposed to be more efficient for heat dissipation.

I do appreciate all of the offers and suggestions on this vitally important Tiger topic.
I went the recore route too. Only radiator shop was across state line. Was surprised how clogged it was so it wasn't really a choice. Added a gano filter to the top radiator hose. Still catching some bits of scale, glass beads and stuff even after flushing the block and heater core.

Added hoghead water pump pulley (powder coating), c9 fan, horn hole covers, blocked cross member gap, distilled water and some antifreeze for corrosion protection.

I do hope that the radiator shop does a great job of recoring your original radiator. When the work is done, many others might like to learn of the radiator shop, so please let us know how it turns out.
Although I haven't run the car, I did get the radiator back and the work looks just fine so I don't anticipate any issues. Turnaround was less than a week.
Eastwood says most radiators require two cans of their special paint so that's what I bought. One can was plenty to do several light coats.
The shop that did the re-core is Gardena Radiator 722 W Gardena Bl, Gardena. 310 532 2151. There were several clean vintage cars in the shop so I figured I had found the right place, especially considering the lack of options nowadays.
Cost was $580
