Another Way to Get a Sunbeam Wheel

I wonder how much it would cost to buy a plastic wheel off a wrecked Alpine and replace the plastic rim with a wooden rim. I'll bet it would be a lot less than the nearly $3,000 this guy is asking for his steering wheel.

This red car is mild. I have a photo of an Alpine that showed up at the Indy TE/AE United in 1986. It had 1959 Caddy rear fins grafted on the rear fenders. Think about how tall the fins were.

That scoop looks like a re-worked aluminum carb/intake scoop for a boat motor.
