..."And Now for Something Completely Different "...

This one has done the rounds before.... But I LOVE the creative licence in the text... Modified for racing.... Yup... Just what I would do for serious competition.... Add weight and increase shift time and disadvantage gearing....

Racing mods:
Wooden centre console
Automatic trans
Add your own dash with restricted leg room
Paint bumpers body colour...

Go win :rolleyes::D

.... So you can take advantage of that "roll-bar" looking thing by moving the seat waaay back & using a semi-lay-down formula style [or low-rider style] seating position....

...Oh now I get it! That is one of the many "Racing modifications"; this one to reduce wind resistance [after you remove the top & windshield, of course].

Just a guess.

Maybe they were trying to get it to line up with the top of the steering wheel for that smooth, custom look.

Perplexed in Paramount

Hey

I'm from So. Cal. and I like the lowrider look add some dingle balls a chain link steering wheel, and I already have a doggie for the back window

Nice overflow

I like the Harrison overflow/ expansion tank. The P.O. put one in my car, from a 63 vette . Use to run 190 all the time.

Hey the Harrison tank worked on the Cobras and the prototype Tiger. Seems like a good fit.
