Are you freaking kidding me

Maybe testing the water to sell a bunch of $7 emblems for $$$$$$. As they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

As I said last auction bag is not for that part, its a late 50's early 60's bag pre-chrysler ... Probably lists va different part on the back... At least go to the effort of a Chrysler - Rooted bag

Rootes Bag

I wonder,:D what part for a Fox-bodied Mustang came in the old style Rootes bag?:D

Yes, I think the package can be somewhat misleading for a quick finger. I know I got fooled once. I had my wall paper made from a package just for a more proffesinal look, and yes, to market and bump enthusiasm for the part. However, I always point out "used" or new clearly in my description. As always, unhappy customers get their money and shipping returned. Lucky for me, it's only happened once.

If they were the small diameter ones, they might have a prayer of a big payday.

Those look like the 3 inch diameter ones. the 2 9/16 ones are made of unobtanium.

Anyone with a line on the small ones, PM me. I am a buyer for at least 2.

Call OSHA :)

Sticky Threads?

However, there are no lug nuts on that Front Wheel...maybe it is locktited so as not to slide...?

Lug Nuts

Actually there are two lug nuts on that front wheel... at the 5 o'clock and 11 o'clock positions. I had to blow up the picture to see the them better.

Would you believe...???

Jim,

Is your comment because you think the speedo sold for too little or too much??

My comment was due to the fact that I know that a similar gauge (below) recently sold for US$1000 ( vs. US$50 ) and the fact that the seller and even possibly the buyer have no clue that it's a Sunbeam Tiger MKII speedometer!!

Speedo

Well, no wonder this one was only $50. The face plate is upside down!!! Hahahahaha!!!

Speedometer

We have a member that is involved in the refitting of these fiddly contraptions. He has a nice article in the Tiger Tales. It was pointed out to me the internal gearing may be different in the MK2 ones so getting them right from a reproduced face on a early Tiger unit is problematic. IDK who's work bench that could be it's way too clean to be mine Jim:rolleyes:

I saw a set of MK2 headlight rings go in a pile of goodies for really little dough. Hardly acres of diamonds on eBay
