Hey guys, I've got some new hood buffers for my Tiger and I see how the front ones mount, but I'm afraid to remove the rear ones if there is a nut under the cowling. Can I just unscrew the rear ones or will a nut fall into the abyss?
Thanks!

Good ole PB blaster once a day fer a week, and then hope for the best . . .I haven't lost one yet. Broke off a few with impatience though.

Maybe someone modified mine years earlier but I had a nut welded into the rear of the cowl.

Randy, they turn easily, but I was concerned about what they actually screw into on the underneath side.... I hope the nuts are welded like Cobrakids or the body panel itself is threaded. Just hate to unscrew them and not be able to screw the new ones in.
