The annual CAT/CHiP's For Kids Toy Drive is almost here! Time to start buying toys for needy kids, and readying your car for the big day. Decorate your Tiger or Alpine (or other car if you wish) and join us for one of the most satisfying CAT events of the year.
This year the toy drive will be held on December 19th, and we'll be delivering toys to the CHP at the City of Industry SpeedZone. We will, as in prior years, meet up at the Whittier Quad (corner of Whittier Bl. And Painter Av. In Whittier where we will have a hot beverage at the Starbucks and get ready to go. We will leave the Quad and take a little jaunt around led by Jere Teepen, who has volunteered to set up a fun-run to SpeedZone.
Meet, and gather at the Whittier Quad between 8:30 & 9:30 AM on Saturday, 12/19/15.
Leave for SpeedZone at 9:30 AM, arriving about 10:00-10:30 AM to deliver the toys, and then play on the rides, miniature golf, and games.
The CHP and SpeedZone will run the toy drive from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; there is food available, and there will be entertainment outside. Hope to see you there!
