It also has the incorrect bezel profile, thebsunveans have the rounded profile. You could swap it over snd use it in a series I/II alpine or paint hands to use in a mki tiger.
so if im understanding this right, this conversion/upgrade is something that would be done AFTER a clock was refurbished yes?
I was going to send my grubby old clock (3131/00 for those keeping track) to get refurbished with my other grubby gauges. Then once the clock LOOKS like new-- I can send it to this gentleman and it will then RUN better than new?
Coincidentally I am only 15 minutes from the address listed for his shop (my brother lives < 1 mile away)
thanks
I cant edit Warrens post but will post the numbers when we are sure. Right now there is a discussion about the 3030 00 and 3131 00 for the US Mk1. I need to find someone with the 3030 00 I have a question in to Graham in England and Norm Miller. One of these guys will know the right answer. So stay tuned for the Mk1part number. If you know with certainty (no my car came with a " answers please)please let me know the correct number. It is important for getting the Mk1 early guys the correct clock and 100 point restorations the ability to be 100% correct if they have a clock. Lee
We need to find a 3030 00 clock from an owner then confirm it says negative ground on the face top or back. We know the 3030 exists from the picture attached.
