I put together a group today to go to the new museum in the bay area--some very nice cars there along with literature, pictures and oddities. Here are a few pics.....

Good one :)

Very nice, what does it do do with Sunbeams?

It looks like they got Rootes guys to do some ugly welds on the Tri Y headers.

In addition Bruce most often likes to toot his own horn but, in this case I will reach over...

Bruce tells me he has been seeing another club, which is OK even if it is S.T.O.A. Well I guess he is planning a museum tour with them and is checking out the place first.

It would be nice to have some more cross over between clubs. Nice pics and post Bruce

Wow!

Beautiful pics and cars. Esp the model with Shel beside the "car". Thanks for sharing to those of us not as fortunate to have awesome museums like this around the corner! It could be easy to take for granted by those fortunate to be close to these treasures.

Well I thought it would be nice to see something other than Sunbeams all the time, plus old man Shelby did have a hand in the making the Tiger. They showed a movie there and there was a section on the Tiger and Shelby's involvement, plus a few pics of Tigers in the museum. It's good to think outside the box occasionally. :)

Isn't that Drew's place?? I luv the history of it all anyway . . . . . .

Yes it is---he owns roughly 6 of the cars there, plus a good friend of mine has a car on display. I ran into Bill Martin there yesterday--he found a couple Tiger references in the museum......every little bit helps. :)
