Correct engine paint color?

When I was a kid building my AMT models, every Ford, Dodge or whatever, I painted the engine was Chevrolet Orange. Loved that color, so in the 70’s I painted my MK-2's motor, Chevrolet Orange. Now, I’m a bit older & since the engine is being rebuilt, I’d like to paint it the stock original color. I know that it is a dark blue (sometimes called Corporate-blue or Ford-blue) but there are several different shades of dark blue, by different paint brands.

Anyone know what the correct color name, brand, & where to get it locally, would be for my MK-2? What do you guys use? Thanks!

BLUE OVAL ENGINE PAINT

TRY EASTWOOD COMPANY FOR ENGINE CERAMIC PAINT OR VHT ENGINE ENAMEL

The correct Eastwood hi temp engine paint is 51623ZP called Ford Dark Blue
for years 1966-1980.....

Thanks for the replies & suggestions on paint color. I needed to get it locally because the engine shop wanted it right away, so I drove all over town comparing different brands & shades of blue. None of the six different local stores had the Rustoleum brand in stock (yes, I know I could have ordered it from Amazon). I even called Rustoleum to see if anyone carried it, but they said that color was not popular enough for anyone to stock. My engine had been hot tanked so I used my tranny color as guide. What I found was the Duplicolor & the VHT “old Ford Blue” as way too light (like early Mustangs). Duplicolor “dark Ford Blue, was way too dark (like ’69 & up Mustangs). I called local Mustang restorers who told them custom mix their paint. Then I called Bill Martin (Rootes Group Depot) who suggested a # 224 Plasti-Kote. The Plasti-Kote “Ford blue” is darker than “old Ford blue” & lighter than the “dark Ford blue” of the other brands, it is much much closer to my MK-2 tranny color. Right or wrong, the Plasti-Kote # 224 is what my engine got painted. Thanks again for the replies.
