I think the reason for crazy price, in this case, might have to do with the item being out of stock. They kick the price up high to where no one in their right mind would purchase so all related info remains on file and doesn't require re-entering when it becomes available again.

I'm sure they would run over each other though to find a copy if someone ordered at $10K. Amazon folks probably aren't aware that there are those that will pay $2-3K for the correct title.
