I wiil be at the SEMA show with my Tiger being displayed in the Optima corral from Oct. 29 thru Nov. 3 On Nov. 3 I will be running the Optima Battery Challenge with the best Tiger front suspension made, to hopefully get a Tiger labeled the Ultimate Street Car of the Year.
Hope to see some of you there.

Oh, just for a heads up, Dales Restorations will be closed for the month of December returning January 10, I will be in Germany due to my daughter having our first grandchild. I will be checking my emails.

Daughters in Germany

We had a chance to visit my daughter attending school in Berlin last fall. We had the most wonderful time in Germany. Everyone we met was incredibly gracious. BTW, she is now a senior at University of Redlands, not far from you. Enjoy your Christmas in the old world.
 
Back from SEMA

I made it back from SEMA and the Optima Challenge with the car in one piece and myself needing to rest my legs. If you have ever been to SEMA it is miles of walking to see everything.
Despite. some of the politics of the Optima Challenge I felt good with my 18 place overall finish out of 60 competitors. I finished 13 in the autocross and I'm still trying to find out were I placed in the road course and speed stop. The overall winner was Mark Steilow in a 1967 Camaro with a reworked LS9 making 860 hp, 840 ft/lbs of torque, abs brakes, traction control and
345-35/18 tires on all four corners.
Thanks to Glenn Fukui, Jim Foster and his wife who flew in from Canada to watch the Optima Challenge and all the other Tiger owners that stopped by the car in the SEMA corral.
Thanks for the congrats on becoming a grandfather, I'm already feeling the monetary drain from airline tickets and she hasn't been born yet!

Very impressive, car looks marvelous and congratulations on a great showing!
I am going to run a few of those events with my GT40 next year so will see you then.
Congratulations on the upcoming Grand Child, my son just informed that they are expecting as well so time and gravity march on!

Duke... I think that was only ONE of the events from the challenge...
