Do I get the record for coldest top-down cruise in a Tiger? I just drove 5 miles after fixing some of the butchered electrics, and it is 12 out. :eek: There's no salt on the streets I took... Days like this, I miss SoCal. Once my ears thaw out, I'll probably do it again.

Josh - This is one record I do not see many folks wanting to have and you are welcome to it! When we went up Angeles Crest Highway yesterday, I think it started off in the 50s but seemed to be around 70 when we headed back down. I think it was colder inside the restaurant than out. Our weather has turned us into a bunch of wimps.

Winter of 67 - 68, temps near 0 deg.F. or less. Damaged heater core blocked off and driver's window broken & down completely. Had to drive 55 miles back to college. Got stopped about 2/3's there for weaving while trying to clear windscreen without stopping. Trooper allowed me to sit in cruiser until my teeth stopped chattering . . . .

Alright you win! Maybe I still have the Nebraska record though since there aren't many Tigers here. Nice trooper -especially if he didn't ticket you for anything...

Being young & preoccupied (stupid) made for all sorts of experiences that the wiser sage would avoid . . . . . .Would never think of putting knobby snow tires on the Tiger again.
 
You get the record for lowest temp .. last year the wife and I took a 75 mile drive on Jan 1st at 26 degrees.......that was chilly with no top. You get temp and I'll take distance.:)
