You have to love an auction that shows a part that fits none of the cars the seller lists ... and then have the disclaimer:

exhaust manifold looks good bidders do your homework looks like early manifold parts or restore sold as is please keep a eye on my auctions for more items listing till gone

the only thing dumber than running this auction would be buying the part for the cars listed! :mad:

Could the seller possibly be both an associate of P.T. Barnum and related to Timothy Leary ??
 
Well he does say Sunbeam Alpine...and I recognize this as at least being in the Rootes family. Get your dual carbs and you're ready to go.
 
Serial Junk peddler

This guy is. His crap sells for record amounts and then then he lists another. A fellow visited him and reports a huge pile and a non Sunbeam carpetbagger type seller enjoying the current run up in spare parts prices.

this exhaust does have the flat sections for the intake to bolt onto the top. this was done in the late 60's when using the Stromberg emission carbs. a set up of this type was used on the aluminum head fastback alpine GT here in the states. the problem with this manifold is that it won't hook up on the head due to the position of the center exhaust runners. it won't fit the alpine with the cast iron head either since they used one carb. this may have been used on another marque that used the side draft emission carbs. it would be easy to mistake for the GT part if you weren't familiar with the cars.
