On my first Tiger I found 2 others with the same build date. Did you send in the dates to the engine survey guy R. Fraser ? Our very own Brian G. has a listing as well.

The engine has a build date a casting date and there's a 2bbl manifold tag and a carb tag. I'm forgetting something maybe.

Mine has a Jensen date

mine has a Jensen date of December 18 th 1964 When was yours ?

It also had a 7/16/64 stamp on the bottom left rear of the block, 5 days before the topside date code.
