I'm putting together a 5-bolt 289 for my Mark IA and want to go with an F4B manifold and an Autolite 4100 (1.08) on it. How have other people set up the PCV ? I've got the 1" spacer for the 4 barrel with the water passage through it but it will be too tall to fit under the hood with a stock breather. If the vacuum ports on the back of the manifold are used the PCV is vented into 1 or 2 cylinders only. Can a "T" fitting in the line from the breather cap to the bottom of the air filter housing be used? Thanks, Chris.

PCV

I've had it run into one of the manifold ports on several of my cars with no problems. The engines were in decent shape with minimal blow by, it didn't seem to cause any problems having only a couple cylinders absorb it.
Current Tiger has the Edelbrock Performer manifold, PCV is in a boss in the rear of the manifold under the carb (which I assumed was provided for that purpose since it's in the right location and the right thread size), but since it has a divider wall in the intake plenum, you still have only 4 cylinders absorbing the blow by.
I have the same hood clearance problem - can't get the hood closed with a stock air cleaner even with the spacer removed.

Just use the 1/4" Boss 302 spacer with it's built in PCV connection.
