Fitting Mazda power steering

Hi all, I know it has been done by a few however my stored files went to neverland. With the MX5/Miata rack, what has been used to connect to the Tiger steering column?. I have seen a few completed however part numbers/suppliers I do not have. :)

Here is some Flaming River part #'s

The top u joint is a 3/4"-48 x 3/4" DD ( double 'D' shaft )

Stainless Steel - FR2528DD
Billet steel - FR1728DD

Bottom U joint is a 5/8"-36 x 3/4" DD ... I found it interesting that this is the same size as the stock Tiger rack :cool:
Stainless steel - FR2522DD
Billet Steel - FR1722DD

Double 'D' shaft - FR1859SS 18" long which is as short as they sell and you will only need half of it

They also sell splined shafts and appropriate u joints but I was unsure of exact length when I ordered so the DD shaft made it easy

With the size info, you can also shop around to other suppliers that maybe more convenient ;)

I gave Mal Graham all the info to do his RHD one.. He's several thousand miles closer to you than I so would be a good contact for you
