Hardtop rear quarter window

I'm rebuilding my quarter windows for the factory hardtop. The hinged piece at the front was held on by rivets when I took it apart, but the holes are threaded, so should it use screws from the front through the aluminum piece or the rivets? I'm sure mine were rebuilt at some point as they're different from a more original set I have (also with threaded holes put together with rivots). TIA.

They should use 3 screws each side with internal serrated washer. Hopefully the threads are okay, 6-32, I think, so room to grow to next size up if needed.
