the headers on my tiger have white blisters/balls on the tubes, they scrape off easily, anybody have an explanation for this? Is this the argument I need to convince the wife it's time for some new stainless headers?I will try to upload a picture, Thanks ahead of time for your replies.

I'm not a doctor

but I play one not on TV, but here:) take 2 aspirin then call or use email option for BillG in the morning. Tell Mrs. it is painful:D

Were they ever painted or coated before? Was it damp where the car was? Just trying to figure this out. Seems like I have seen something similar but can't remember where.

header pix

attached, I'm not sure if they were painted or?. I bought car from Frank Sims, some of the folks I met at Big Bear TUnited were very familiar with the car, maybe someone could give me a clue?

Header Fatigue

Not sure if this is the cure, but I stopped by Embee Performance at 55 in Santa Ana today. They said they would ceramic coat headers for $150.
