I am finishing up putting the car (Mk1a) after getting it back from the paint shop and have a few questions but will post them individually since they are of different subject matter.
5. I thought I had carefully marked all my wireing before taking the car apart, but I am stumped as 1 headlight (right side) has been grounded by the previous owners at the washer bottle bracket (which I have re-done), but the left side has a black ground wire (in addition to the blue/white and blue/red - same as right side) with a bullet end...and I can't find where I unplugged it from. (I do realize that I can ground it on a multiple of places -horn bolts, expansion tank bracket bolts etc, but I am trying to keep it as I found it...and I just don't like these senior moments to get the best of me)
