Hello all, I am searching for X-chassis repair parts, or a whole (X) section.
Is anyone making such parts?
The previous owner of my Tiger made some home modifications to repair minor rust and enlarge the exhaust pass throughs, which have caused more damage than they fixed. I intend to replace all four wings at the least because the center portion is still very solid. I am located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
Thanks and have a great day.

Where are you?

That is the first? Have a SIV pending slicing and dicing in LA County Desert.
Please up date your personal page to be more personal so it's easy to help.

I don't think you could fit a complete X member on a pallet for shipping it seems too big.

I thought there was a place making the exhaust pass through repair panels?? I know I have seen them, in fact when I sold a huge Tiger pile back in '08 there were new ones with all of the parts. On a side note I should have bought the whole mess--sold it for a friend's widow......2 Tigers, 1 Alpine and enough spare parts to rebuild both Tigers....:(

Available, Yes

Got pictures of the damaged areas? We still have the old Guru making custom pieces for the faithful. If you don't find a local source, send us a PM.

Good morning Warren. I am located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
Is the entire front for the SIV in great, non-rusted, non-damaged, condition?
I also could use many front end body pieces as I will be repairing deer collision
damage. Thanks and have a great day.

Yes, I do have photos but I am terrible at posting them correctly.
Anyway, because of the rust ( but mostly poor quality repair ) the four legs are basically shot about 3/4" down from where they fold and are welded to the floor pan. The center (X) has a dent in it that is easily pressed out and the poor welding ability of the repairman did little to damage the (X) as well so that will clean up nicely.

It looks as though your parts are a cap of sorts that go over the existing (x) brace legs to effect a repair. Is this correct?

X's

Both are in nice shape. The front end I have is a round corner.
Got to be a better way to hunt deer than with a Tiger.

I dunno? That deer was killed with deft accuracy and quickly dispatched to the next phase at 55 MPH.
