You have hit on another N.H.T.S.A. change that was most likely an additional reason Rootes and Chysler killed the car. The chrome wipers and the chrome reflective nature of items in the drivers field of vision. Had the car been allowed to live on it most likely would have had all of the horn ring satin or matte black with no evil chrome to possibly blind the driver. The majority of the ones I have seen are satin black, but they have been on restored cars. But you can always go gloss and then hit with 800 or rubbing compound if you find you like satin better or is the correct concourse finish.
