Elephant powered Tiger?

One Thing is Required

I hope you have a pentastar on your right front quarter panel to go with that engine!

technically it would be the correct manufacturer, would love to see one in a Tiger (or clone).

I would love to see it, too. Seeing as how my car is not original, and the 289ci engine is out of the car at the moment, I am graciously accepting engine donations, if anyone is interested. :)

Of course, the photo is of a plastic model of the engine, not the real thing. I'd want the real thing.

Too bad my 4.6L DOHC from my Cobra won't fit.

Not to get too off-topic, but is it common for the engine compartment to be black? All of the cars I've seen in person are painted body color, as is mine. But, I was thinking of painting it black once I'm done with mockup to make a future repaint easier.

Regards,
John.

That's so funny LMAO

I was shocked the first time I saw a TR6 converted to a 6. It looked to be just about that much room around the engine as compared to Tiger.

So much for the story that the Tiger was discontinued because a Chrysler V-8 wouldn't fit... :p

I can't tell if thats a new high tech motor mount or maybe the crossmember for "the best Tiger front supension made".

I had one of those, used it as a seat support in my Alpine after I had cut out the floors and wanted to drive the car around the block...:eek::eek:
