36

Having had a 36 horsepower car, I can appreciate the difference. Not saying this author and his well seen cars are wrong. Sure wish he would have said something like. The car begs for more power, but unlike similar cars that came with 36 hp these can be dressed to look stock or close to it. EMPI , LAT different rotations for different folks, or something like that:cool:

Not quite as told.

A close look at the Cars would indicate the MKll has a 4V carb/intake.

36 HP more? Sure...:------

So much for any STOCK comparo.

LAT?, SPARE me....

...No BAD press..

And Lightened Body

And the Mk II has a lighter than stock body. It is missing the striped tape down both sides and the Sunbeam appliques that are supposed to be by each script Tiger, saving weight! :p

Ah but that easily offset by a steel hood scoop.... Thats why it needs the 4bbl ;-)

Didn't Kim sell the black car? Who's the current owner? It's a very nice survivor that had 10K miles on it the last time I saw it. I seem to remember her telling me the MK 2 was restored at a shop in California.

Her black Tiger was with the new owner at the Hilton Head Island show in November. What a nice original 10,000 mile car! Shame the magazine article didn't even mention how unique that Tiger is-and how hard it is to find one now in that condition.
