do you put vinyl over the seat rails?

Here are a few more pics showing the rest of the vinyl pieces that do not come with any of the kits. The seat rails are painted black, unless you are doing a pro tour, restomod style car like my black car which has the rails covered in leather. There is also a piece of cardboard that runs the length of the rocker to help smooth the carpet. Martha includes the cardboard in her kit.

Thank you for the pics--very helpful. I worked on it most of the day--got everything done from the shifter back, whew. I am getting close, should be finished with one more day, most likely next weekend, darn work keeps getting in the way. The one you are working on is beautiful, definitely better than mine, but I am happy with my 1st complete interior job. Gotta start somewhere.
