John Morton races the white #74 sports car forum tiger for the Triple's. I'm guessing you are referring to the red 55 tiger raced by dale a ... All the bp cars in the states run 289's iirc. Maybe post a link to the forum thread so we can see?
Posting a picture would help or at least some detail as to cars number event etc..... There are 2 other red bp tigers that raced at Monterey in 2014 in the tiger 50 year seeing the image would help

That is dale a's tiger, the car is a bp car and runs a 289 that would be an easy 400+.
The car is very quick, but I believe gas been brought more into period soec this year to stay within class rules, so is back to 13" wheels and stock brake callipers whereas it previously ran 14" wheels and aftermarket front callipers.
As previously John Morton drives the Triple's ex-scf74 tiger.
