Hi All,
Just want to share a recent success experience. The replacement I bought for the 1 inch hose from the overflow tank to the radiator was a bit of a struggle to get on and everything aligned comfortably. And to do that required a bit of a kink in the hose, although not too bad.
I found a tip in the old CAT notes that highly recommended a Gates 20565 hose. That is still a good number, and I was able to cross reference it to a Goodyear hose 63692, which is what I bought. What a nice fit! As is often the case, you need to use only a portion of the hose. Just cut off the accute angle end and use the longer remaining piece. Pic attached.
