LAT hood and fender vents

I want to buy a LAT hood and fender vents
Who is currently making these and the contact info if possible

I have had the Cobra style scoop since the car was new. Does anyone still make these?
Any tricks to bonding it on so that it does not crack as I am not a fan of the riveted on unfinished look

Also in White pages members only listing you will find sellers of LAT hoods. I installed my own, I got from Dale A. and there is a lengthy thread on the subject. I do not know anyone who has used the listing Norm suggested.

As for fender vents seen some in the Cobra parts suppliers.
 
Tony Branda makes the Cobra hood scoops, I used one on my Tiger and the quality and fit was great. I used rivets to hold mine on.

The alternative is the cobra style hood and hood vents per CobraKidz blue car pictured. A great idea, and no fitment issues if I can only bond it on without cracking at the corners

Now for the dimensions of the LAT style hood vents?

Are LAT 41 fender vents the same as a Cobra?
Any ideas on where to buy the LAT 41 vents?
 
I have not given up on a LAT hood but modifying a steel hood makes a lot of sense and not too difficult if using a Cobra style scoop.
 
Expansion

Most crack cause of the different way fiberglass and steel expand and contract.

Jim and other's point to some good threads but most guys that built a reproduction only did a few. Like all Tiger parts a perfect models is the hardest part. I know of vendors who make steel scooped and vented hoods but fiberglass is less than an arm and a leg.
I do agree that a riveted scoop looks slapped on and unfinished but I drive with a satin black LAT hood and I'm thinking of bullethole sticker or two, so I am not perfect Bng
 
LAT Hood Vents

Somewhere in the barn, I still have a few pre-made triangle LAT hood vents. I'll send in the surviving chipmunks to locate them . . . . . .

I ended up using a steel hood....had my fab guy make the side vents and then added the Cobra scoop. Looked like an LAT hood and yet it didn't.
 
Can anyone provide the dimensions for the LAT triangular hood vents, and location in the hood?

Randy - did your chipmunks ever find the vents?
 
I'd love a template or something like that too. I have a hood with a scoop so I'm thinking about adding the vents. I'd even buy pre-made vents if they're available. Thanks!

Funny thing

I got a hood on a car with one vent. D.P.O. decided to fill it cuz it hit after market brake booster.... Kent Wilcox and Dale said he had some rejects laying about.


But I'd be okay with taking a 1/4 graph paper and laying it over and highlighting edge's.
 
My sister owns a full on CNC sheet metal shop so making then is not an issue if I had the dimensions
Our Canadian dollar is .77 USD right now too!!!
 
Somewhere I made paper templates that I used to create a steel lat hood . If I remember they are 6" wide x 10 " long and 1 1/2 " deep .
