What are your chances of finding a rebuilt MKII engine build the same day as the one in your car A22KK , what about a tranny with one number up the one in your car , and the matching rear end ( all from the same car)
30+ year after the car was scrapped .

What about that the combo was in your friend garage but you never bother to check the numbers ( met him at a Tiger east convention in the 80's)

Became my possession yesterday , because of health issue !!!!!

I am buying a lottery ticket today !!!!!!

P.s will be putting his MKIA for sale , and lot of tiger parts soon !!!!

Great find! Is that Tom Stoyle's old Tiger?
Hope you can come to the TE/AE United in September-bring all the parts to sell at the swap meet. There will be a huge Sunbeam swap meet going on the entire 4 days of the United. At last year's United there were 15 vendors and many good deals. Eric

Darned good find! I've aged beyond the acquisition stage but will be jealous just the same . . . . . . .

Black

Is slimming and it goes with everything, I hear:cool:

Maybe you should keep em both.

Must be really hard to have a MK2 and not want to tweak and personalize it.

Hope eBay is not your marketplace of choice.

tiger

eric,
tom's car is in cincinnati. it doesn't look to be the same roll bar either.

Does the car have gold racing stripes? I seem to recall seeing one like that with LAT70's in a TEAE newsletter?

Yes , he's been to many TEAE convention since 1980, he his very sick , we will put up his car for sale pretty soon . Would you believe A tiger from the east without any rust of any king , no panel have been replaced , was TAC in 2010.
We are trying to sell it to someone who will keep the car , not to end up in a auction .!!!!! Right know we are doing the usual cleaning , waxing etc, etc

Its very sad to loose a friend .

P.S We were known as the french connection in TEAE

I am so sorry to hear about Gaston's health. Please let him know that his Sunbeam friends are thinking and praying for him. Eric

It's always sad to hear of someone who is ill.

That's a smashing looking Tiger he has there.
The black and gold reminds me of the old Lotus F1 cars from the 70s/80s.
I wonder if he was a fan back then.
