Looking for good, strait doors for a Mk1. With hardware if possible but would take anything with a good skin, strait frame and no rust.

Which MKI doors do you need?

Early mki have the ST doors per sports model series iv alpine ( round trailing edge) .

The later MKI have the cross body cars with square cornered edge and GT trims with brackets to hold the door cards proud inline with waist rolls.

Any good body man can convert later square corner doors to curved and vis versa. My Tiger was is a Mk1 and we used series 5 alpine doors

Steven,

The square corner mki doors are the GT style so you also have to get/make the top hat brackets for the door trims.

Also as mentioned the door winder mechanism also changed location. All depends what he needs and if he wants correct or not

That Craigslist ad is still up Cameron. Maybe this guy is close to Dan ? if it was on my commute to San Diego county I'd help. I traded my round corner roller for body labor cause I don't have what we used to call a pull dozer back when I was a auto body trainee. List of bad ideas not tried, hook up car front to pad eye in steep driveway roll car down drive way backwards.

This fellow also has a ruff looking Alpine with hard top.

I'm not a car flipper, I just find stuff cause I always want a spare shell so I can continue to drive like a teenager:)
