Cars for sale

Members should post non affiliated or CL or other internet finds to General Tiger Discussion. The only difference is in the only CAT members can post to For sale in Marketplace and we'd like comments from all that love to armchair tire kick ;)

Mkll for sale

Does anyone know the history or VIN number of this car?

Text

I texted the seller and have downloaded the pictures . Our original poster Brian is a serial Tiger Hunter, thanks Brian.
The picture in the ad is too small to blow up to where I can see it.
You literally have to look ever day several times as even the CL notification has several hours lag time. I had an outdated app Craigsnotify that only had a hour lag, if got me a deal on my black car. Too bad the app is dead.

The ad says he is asking $80k not much of a deal in my book. Am I missing something?

Just from what I can see, the restoration process would place the finances downside up on the first workday . . . . . .price is extremely optimistic, not that some dreamer won't step up.

45,000

This started at 45,000 but he changed it.
80,000 seems unrealistic. Remember the one in Carson California on CL for 300,000 that was a former Lord Rootes winner?
Remember Chucks car , not sold at 100,000
2 years after those high water mark sales.

For those who can afford the disposable income hobbies, I'm glad to help. Realistically, more than 80% of what we do here comes & goes from storage as family funds recover. Just sayin'

up and down

It's on Los Angeles craigslist for $75,000 now, it's got higher price volatility than Bitcoin.
