Anyone have a look at the MKII (B382100133LRXFE) on ebay?

The body is really odd. The RHS guards look to have been opened up at the back arch and the car is sitting very high over the wheels and the front wheel is sticking a long way outside the body.

On the LHS the body is very low over the front wheel adn at the rear the guard is also cut open and sitting very high over the wheel. Looks like maybe it has had some very large rear wheels at some point?

As for the way it sits and wheel location,, is it body issues, unibody issues or just issues in general?

About 20 minutes from my house. Can neither confirm nor deny the four Tigers! You'd think I would have seen one!

I can confirm that David is a serious Sunbeam owner. He was also very helpful to me during my Tiger restoration. I have not seen this car, but I have seen his three other tigers and two Alpine's. All his cars are show worthy, the five mentioned were in our local British show this year. I used his origional paint 66 Tiger for my photo documentation.

I don't think he's a forum follower, but two of his cars former owners post here often so maybe they have better info on this MKII.

Talk him onto joining and bringing lots of pics of his cars with him. :)

Mark II Tiger on eBay

Just for comparison purposes, I've attached a few photos of my Mark II (owned since 1978)... all taken at the TAC event in Dayton, OH in 2009. It has stock wheel well openings (and the trim). The car being sold does have some differences... but they might not bother a prospective buyer... hard to tell.

Regards,

Bill

Morning fellow Sunbeam owners. I've finally registered and completed the 'process' of going live. I have the Mk2 on ebay and so you all know, the cars' fender wells were heightened and lengthened buy the previous owner during his redo in 1990-91. Some may have known him...Ken Lucas from Pa who has since pasted away. He enjoyed a good auto cross and the car is set up for that..he built a very quick 302 with gearing ratios to function well on the track. I purchased the car last Spt hoping to bring it to stock but probably too big a project for me. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys might have...and I do have 3 other Tigers and 3 other Alpines, one being my first car proving I am crazy!
